Preview: Worley Family

Family sessions are a funny thing. Sometimes, honestly, they are the most exhausting work that I do. But sometimes they are purely energizing and even relaxing - the Worley Family was this type of experience.

They are maybe the sweetest people you'll ever meet, with the most relaxed baby you've ever seen. Downtown Glendale was good to us and we found lots of cute little spots for photos.

Andrea is a photographer as well, and has tons of amazing shots of her sweet baby girl. But the one thing a photographer never gets is photos of her whole family together - including her! I know this from experience! So we did a lot more whole family shots then I usually do at an 11 month shoot.

Something New: Party Photography

There are moms who plan parties, and there are moms who are BORN to plan parties. Meet Cristen: Born to Plan. She was in 7th heaven last Saturday, putting all the final details on her daughter's 5th birthday party. Savannah was delighted by everything: the parasols, the peaches 'n cream cake (designed and crafted by her dad!), the candy, the dress up station, and the rosebud pinata. Enjoy the details!

Truly, it was a lovely party. Fun, colorful, delicious, silly, and sophisticated. I'm glad to have been a part of the festivities!
