Ode to Anthem

I say it all the time, but it's true:  I love shooting at new locations.  

My familiar haunts are comfortable and cozy, like a worn in flannel shirt.  

But new locations are energizing and exhilarating, even when challenging.  

Anthem community park was good to us, ushering in this year's Fall family session season. 

Let the games begin!

Purple Wedding, Purple Wedding...

Yes, I was just singing that to the tune of "Purple Rain".  Remember Melanie and Andrew?  They are officially Mr. & Mrs. now - and we celebrated together at a lovely Phoenix ceremony full of class and the color purple.  My favorite parts:  Rhinestone studded Converse sneakers for the bride and a candy bar at the reception!

 

 

Canine Inspiration

I am not a dog person.  I don't loathe them, but they just aren't my cup of tea.  Particularly the slobber.  

Not so with my friends Aymee and Todd!  Their love for their newest addition (Panda) knows no limits.  I watched in wonder as they lovingly wiped down her sweaty face and let her drink from her very own water bottle.  It was inspiring, in a canine sort of way.  Enjoy the previews!
