Ah, Chicago. Arguably the greatest city in the world. It's where I grew up (hence the sentiment) and also the chosen destination of a recent girls' weekend (hence the photos). Those photos are elsewhere... here, to be exact.
This April the city was alive with tulip carpets, new growth in each square foot, and blossoms on nearly every tree. The city was, as always, bustling with the smells and sights I remember so well, and bursting with the unique color scheme I have only ever seen in Chicago.
This set of photos is a tribute to the city I love so much.
