You don't necessarily have to BE somewhere beautiful to see beauty. And the little corners of Phoenix we explored last weekend were far from beautiful, to be sure! ("Is he playing with a razor?" "Oh, don't worry, it's just a shard of glass!")
But the beauty I saw in this sweet family was breathtaking. The husband's love for his wife... the big sister's love for her little brother... it was simply (as always) an honor to be invited in for a few hours to play, document, and enjoy the company of such inspirational people.
