I am a big fan of photographing families in their own homes. There are a lot of convenient parts of this (weather isn't an issue, for example) and of course some inconvenient parts (the cleanliness of your home gets memorialized forever...) but the real reason for considering this style of family session is the comfort it provides. A family is by far the most comfortable at home. And their interactions reflect that, especially the interactions of kids.
